Marketdesk AI (“the App”) is operated by My India Now Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Marketdesk AI mobile application and associated services.

By using Marketdesk AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo collected via Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email registration.
  • Financial Preferences: Watchlists, portfolios, stock holdings (user-entered data only — we do NOT connect to or access real brokerage accounts, demat accounts, or bank accounts).
  • App Usage Data: Features used, screens visited, and interaction patterns to help us improve the app experience.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers.
  • AI Conversation Data: Messages sent to the AI chat for market analysis, stored securely to provide and improve the service.
  • Push Notification Tokens: For delivering price alerts, trading signals, and market updates.
  • Trading Signal Preferences: Your alert configurations and signal preferences.
  • Subscription & Payment Information: Managed entirely by Apple App Store / Google Play Store and RevenueCat — we do NOT collect, store, or have access to your credit card, debit card, UPI, or any payment method details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Marketdesk AI app experience.
  • Deliver AI-powered market analysis, insights, and reports.
  • Send trading signals, price alerts, and market notifications.
  • Process and manage subscriptions (via RevenueCat integrated with App Store / Play Store).
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve app features and performance.
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • All data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Storage).
  • Firebase servers are located in the United States (Google Cloud Platform).
  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL encryption.
  • Data at rest is encrypted using Google Cloud's default encryption.
  • Firebase Authentication provides secure sign-in with industry-standard protocols.
  • We implement access controls and follow security best practices.
  • Despite our efforts, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate and deliver the App:

  • Google Firebase — Authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, and push notifications.
  • RevenueCat — Subscription management and billing (payments processed through Apple/Google).
  • Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) API — Stock market data, financial statements, and indices.
  • CoinGecko API — Cryptocurrency market data and pricing.
  • Anthropic Claude API — AI-powered chat and market analysis.
  • Google Sign-In — Authentication provider.
  • Apple Sign-In — Authentication provider.
  • Serper API — Web search for AI analysis context.
  • Binance WebSocket — Real-time cryptocurrency price data.

We do NOT use Google AdMob or any advertising SDKs — the app is completely ad-free.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
  • We do NOT share your data with advertisers — we have no advertising in the app.
  • Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, solely to operate and deliver the app's functionality.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request.
  • In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred (users will be notified).

7. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access: You can view your data within the app (profile, portfolios, watchlists, etc.).
  • Deletion: Delete your account and ALL associated data permanently from Settings → Delete Account.
  • Notifications: Opt out of push notifications from your device settings at any time.
  • AI Chat: Your AI conversation history can be cleared from within the app.
  • Data Export: Contact us at support@marketdeskai.com to request an export of your data.
  • Correction: Contact us to correct any inaccurate personal information.

8. Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms

Marketdesk AI offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:

  • Monthly Plan: $9.99/month
  • Annual Plan: $79.99/year

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase. All prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store or Google Play Store after purchase.
  • No refund is provided for any unused portion of a subscription period.
  • All refund requests are handled exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play Store — we do not process refunds directly.
  • For refund inquiries, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support through their respective platforms.

9. Children's Privacy

Marketdesk AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. By using the app, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your data in the United States. We take steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy regardless of where it is processed. We comply with applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions where we operate.

11. Cookies & Tracking (Website)

  • Our website (marketdeskai.app) may use essential cookies for basic functionality.
  • The mobile app does not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.
  • We do not engage in behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • We use basic analytics to understand app usage patterns (not linked to advertising).

12. Data Retention

  • We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
  • Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
  • Backup copies may take up to 90 days to be fully purged from our systems.
  • AI Conversation Data: Your AI chat history and conversation logs are retained for service improvement and to provide continuity. You may clear your AI conversation history at any time from within the app.
  • Trading Signal Preferences: Your signal alert configurations, notification preferences, and signal interaction history are retained to personalize your experience. This data is deleted when you delete your account.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via in-app notification or email. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

14. AI-Generated Trading Signals & Data Disclosure

Marketdesk AI provides AI-generated trading signals, market analysis, and investment-related content. It is important that you understand the following:

  • AI-Generated Content: All trading signals, buy/sell recommendations, price targets, stop-loss levels, and market analysis provided through the App are generated by artificial intelligence algorithms and machine learning models. These are NOT created by licensed financial advisors or registered investment professionals.
  • Data Sources: Our AI models process data from multiple third-party sources including Financial Modeling Prep (FMP), CoinGecko, Binance, CoinPaprika, and publicly available market data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data from these sources.
  • Signal Data Collection: We collect data about your interactions with trading signals, including which signals you view, tap, save, or act upon. This data is used to improve signal quality and personalize your experience.
  • No Guaranteed Returns: Past performance of AI-generated signals does not guarantee or indicate future results. Markets are inherently unpredictable and AI models can and do produce inaccurate predictions.
  • AI Limitations: AI models may produce errors, hallucinations, or biased outputs. Signal accuracy varies based on market conditions, data availability, and model limitations. Always verify AI-generated information with independent sources before making any financial decisions.
  • User Responsibility: You acknowledge that any trading or investment decisions you make are entirely your own responsibility. We are not liable for any financial losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated signals or analysis.

15. Regulatory Status

My India Now Technologies, the operator of Marketdesk AI, is a technology company registered in India. We make the following disclosures regarding our regulatory status:

  • We are NOT registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment advisor, research analyst, portfolio manager, or broker-dealer.
  • We are NOT registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
  • We are NOT registered with any financial regulatory authority in any jurisdiction as a financial services provider.
  • Marketdesk AI is a technology platform that provides market data aggregation, AI-powered analysis tools, and informational content. We do not provide personalized financial advice, manage client portfolios, or execute trades on behalf of users.
  • Our GST registration number is 27HVCPM6239P1ZR (registered in Maharashtra, India).

16. Financial Disclaimer

Marketdesk AI provides market data, AI-generated analysis, trading signals, and financial information for INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Nothing in the app constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice. We are not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner (SEBI registered or otherwise). Users should consult qualified financial advisors before making any investment decisions. We are not responsible for any financial losses incurred based on information provided in the app. Past performance of trading signals does not guarantee future results.

18. Social Login Data

Marketdesk AI offers sign-in through third-party social login providers. When you choose to sign in using a social login provider, we receive certain profile information from that provider:

  • Google Sign-In: We receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL. We do NOT receive your Google password, contacts, calendar, or any other Google account data. We request only the minimum scopes necessary for authentication.
  • Apple Sign-In: We receive your name and email address (or an Apple-generated relay email if you choose to hide your email). Apple may share your real name only on first sign-in. We do NOT receive your Apple ID password or any other Apple account data.

We use this social login data solely for account creation, authentication, and displaying your profile within the App. We do not share your social login data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

19. Information Collected From Other Sources

In addition to information you provide directly, we may receive information about you from other sources:

  • Social Login Providers: As described in Section 18, we receive basic profile data from Google and Apple when you use social sign-in.
  • App Store / Play Store: We receive subscription status and entitlement information through RevenueCat (our subscription management provider) from Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do NOT receive your payment method details.
  • Public Market Data Providers: We aggregate publicly available market data from third-party APIs (FMP, CoinGecko, Binance, etc.) to provide our services. This data is not personal information.

20. Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this time, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

However, as stated throughout this policy, Marketdesk AI does not engage in cross-app tracking, behavioral advertising, or sell your personal data to third parties. The app is completely ad-free.

21. California Residents Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We do NOT share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA (such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, precise geolocation, etc.).

Categories of Information Collected: Identifiers (name, email), Internet activity (app usage data), and commercial information (subscription status). See Section 2 for complete details.

To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at privacy@marketdeskai.com or use the in-app account deletion feature. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

22. Virginia Residents Privacy Rights (CDPA)

If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to confirm whether we are processing your personal data and to access such data.
  • Right to Correct: You have the right to correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
  • Right to Data Portability: You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format.
  • Right to Opt Out: You have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling. We do not engage in any of these activities.
